If you want to escape the grounds and don’t mind the weather, Winter can be a great time to visit. The snowy city can be quite magical during the cold months so if you have a nice winter coat then consider making the trip.
Transportation
There are two main options for getting around Montreal: your feet and public transportation. Montreal has an underground rail as well as a bus that can get you almost anywhere in the city relatively cheaply. You can purchase either a single way ticket, whole day ticket, three day ticket or a weekend ticket.
