easyHotel Franchised is a super budget hotel operator that owes its expansions to franchise. In March 2015, their revenue grew 104 percent to £2.59 million, with its great performance in its three owned hotels in London’s Old Street, Glasgow and Croydon. easyHotel’s chief executive officer Simon Champion says that the hotel chain continues to excel in its performance with doubled revenue each year. The key is their investment in prime locations and optimized coordination with franchisers. In March 2015, they launched their website for a broader customer reach. When they enhanced their customer service, an influx of franchise requests came. According to Simon, global franchising director Paula Lacey is even assessing ore franchisee opportunities in international markets. That year, they opened a branch in Prague.
In September 20, 2015, they added more properties in the UK and other key European destinations for proposal. Now, the company gets to see all of them constructed right where most tourists visit, paving the way for good returns and additional shareholders over the years. It now has 36 locations - 11 corporately-owned hotels with 1220 total rooms and 25 franchised hotels with 2,136 rooms. The company has also been doing well in the London Stock Exchange since their June 2014 when they raised a £24.5 million fund for expansions.
