About Ishin Hotels Group Co. Kasukabe
Ishin Hotels Group Co., Ltd. is a hotel management and investment group operating 22 hotels throughout Japan. The company headquartered in Tokyo started its operations in 2001 as business hotels and has since evolved into resort hotels and full-service hotels. The amenities of its hotels branded as “the b” include comfortable guest rooms with duvet-style bed-making, bars, restaurants, swimming pools, gymnasiums, spas, function and meeting rooms, and more. The design of the rooms incorporates a simple modern style. For an excellent transportation access for sightseeing and business purposes, all Ishin Hotels are strategically located next to the JR and subway stations.
Last year, Ishin Hotels entered into a strategic partnership with Hoshino Resorts Inc. The company based in Karuizawa, Nagano has acquired 50% stakes of Ishin Hotels through Grove International Partners’ special-purpose company (SPC). The outstanding 50% interest remains with SPC and to be jointly managed by Grove International Partners and Hoshino Resorts. The joint venture stipulates that while Ishin Hotels Group and its properties will resume its operation independent from Hoshino Resorts, the latter reserves the right to assign directors.
Moving forward, Ishin Hotels and Hoshino Resorts plan to increase their investments in information technology and associated strategies and systems to boost their competitive advantage.
