Z Hotels is a hotel chain with prime locations but without the hefty price tags that usually come with it. Its founders - Bev King, Rich Meehan, John Raymond and Jamie Goldstein - initially envisioned a series of boutique hotels, but instead decided to go with a brand of accommodations in central locations. The first property was launched in November of 2011, an 85-bedroom hotel in Soho, London. Currently, the brand has a total 11 properties in operation, 8 of which are in London.

Z Hotels offer compact rooms designed to offer all the conveniences guests would need for a couple of days in town, while still having the rest of the city just right outside the hotel doors. The rooms come with free Wi-Fi, and high-definition TV with Sky Sports and Sky Movies at no additional cost. The beds in each room are cleverly designed and handmade, with comfortable organic bed linens that ensure a good night’s sleep after a full day out on the town. Z Cafes in Z Hotels offer good food in a relaxed atmosphere.

The latest addition to the Z Hotels group is the Z Bath, which has proven popular among visitors to Bath. The company has another two properties still in development, the Z Trafalgar Square and Z Holborn, the opening dates of both of which have yet to be announced.
