Alpine Casparis Municipal Airport is a public airport located in 3km from Alpine, Texas. The airport with code ALE has two small runways. Unfortunately, there are not meant to serve large jets. The airport is the only one that serves the county. The airfield is one of the main sources of income for the town. Because it is the only airstrip in the area, this is considered a stop for small commercial planes and chartered aircraft. The airport’s three hangers are all operation during summer because of the influx of passengers. During this season, air travel in the area is the highest.
