Walla Walla Regional Airport is located in Walla Walla, Washington. This public airport with code ALW is located in the western section of the country. The airport is currently operated by the Port of Walla Walla. The city has less than 100,000 in terms of population. This is considered the largest city in the county and the majority of population is from Walla Walla Tribe. The airport covers around 2,319 acres. The runway is made from concrete measuring 1989 m by 46 m. Annually, the airport receives over 30,000 aircraft operations.

The airport was created during World War II. The government spent around $7.6 million to construct the airport. It was for the purpose of the Army Airport Corps training field. Within the land, over 300 buildings were constructed for army personnel. After the war, the US air force has turned over its operations to the county. It received a permit to operate as a full-fledged general aviation airport. Aside from Walla Walla, the airport is serving the cities of Dayton and Lowden.
