Antigonish, Canada: Through The Winding Main Street
It all started with the trail blaze that became the main street in the town later known as Antigonish, Nova Scotia. Apparently, the winding road is not that long as it is the shortest route to Brown's Mountain from the harbour where the long history of the place commenced. Thanks to the local guide, a member of the indigenous community believed to have settled in the area prior to the Europeans, that paved the way for further development in town from newspaper printing called "The Casket" to the establishment of the St Francis Xavier University. This sanctuary is accessible through the Port Hawkesbury Airport.
Best Time to Visit

Warm months fall from June to October when travellers can best explore the town as much as the many activities around without being bothered by too much sun or rain. There is the Antigonish Highland Game, considered as the oldest one outside Scotland, held in July and the Nova Scotia Summer Fest conducted in August.
