About Mgm Resorts International Atlantic City (and vicinity)
MGM Resorts International is an American hospitality and entertainment corporation that is well-known in the global markets. It was founded in 1986 by Kirk Kerkorian. The man was an American businessman, investor, and philanthropist who is known for being one of the biggest figures behind the shaping of Las Vegas. He is even described by many as the “Father of the Mega-Resort”. He built the world’s largest hotel chains like the International Hotel in 1969, MGM Grand Hotel in 1973, and MGM Grand in 1993. He even bought the movie studio Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer in 1969 which happened to carry his famous MGM initials, too.
In June 2015, when he died, he left a net worth of over $4 billion. The Armenian-American mogul was really on top of his game even during his last days. In 2004, he was even awarded National Hero of Armenia for all his achievements in the business sector and charitable projects that helped a lot of unfortunate groups in different parts of the world. In 1988, he even helped northern Armenia rebuild its area after the earthquake that ruined almost everything in there. That’s when the man started winning the hearts of his roots that prompted them to reward such consistency that went on until he passed away.
