Bang Lamung is a district located in the southern part of Thailand, specifically the Chonburi Province. Bang Lamung, Thailand used to be a Mueang but was later on downgraded to a district. It is divided into 8 sub-districts but Ban Lamung is famous for Pattaya. The district has become a tourist destination as Pattaya rakes in a lot of tourists yearly thanks to its beaches and other natural as well as cultural attractions. Visitors can get to the district and to Pattaya through the Utapao Rayong Pattaya International Airport.
