Rafael Hernandez Airport – BQN
Rafael Hernandez Airport is a joint civil and military international airport located in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. It serves the city of Aguadilla and its neighboring cities and towns, including the Puerto del Sol tourist region. In terms of passenger movement, it is the second largest international airport in the country. Working under the IATA code BQN and the ICAO code TJBQ, it serves as the hub for Ameriflight, Prinair, and Skyway Enterprises. It is owned by the local government and operated by the Puerto Ric Ports Authority. In 2014, the airport handled a total of 428,413 passenger movements.

The airport is named after Rafael Hernandez Marin, a Puerto Rican composer. It covers an area of 1600 acres. The north side contains the passenger terminal and cargo terminal – the passenger terminal was recently upgraded to include air conditioning. The south side is the largest portion of the airport, but is largely underdeveloped. Cities, towns, villages, and suburbs found near the airport include Aguacate, Arenales, Camaceyes, and Montana. Some of the airlines that serve the airport include JetBlue, Prinair, Sky High Aviation Services, and United Airlines.
