About HipHop Hostels Laurent Brunoy
HipHop Hostels Philippe is a group of hostels managed and created by the two brothers, who grew up in the ground floor of their family’s own hotel. Whenever their parents are away for a vacation, they transform their 2-star hotel into a youth hostel – lobby is filled with backpacks, breakfast tables were arranged together, and bunk beds at the cellar. Their drive to change the world in unconventional ways has motivated them to be the jet setters of this hostel.
During the year 198, they have decided to open up their own hostel named “a la francaise”. Since then, it generated one establishment after the other, each one named after a significant personal memory to both. They have Youth and Happy, to which Youth Hostel’s initials were used; 3 DUCKS, to which was named after the actual ducks given to them by their sister as a gift for their newly opened hostel; Aloha, to which came from a Tahiti honeymoon vacation. Thirty years later, their family-owned hotel became a chain of 20 hostels across Paris.
It brings a mixture of affordability, comfort and the desire to make the beautiful Paris known to tourists from all over the world.
