The Beauvais-Tille International Airport or more commonly known as Paris-Beauvais International Airport is an international airport serving solely the city of Beauvais, France. Despite having Paris in its name, BVA- Beauvais-Tille International Airport is actually more than 40 miles away from the said city of love. Built in the 1930s, it was a military airfield for French troopers but was seized by the Germans and then later by the Americans. Only during the 1950s was it publicly opened as a civil airport.

It is considered to be France’s tenth busiest airport having over three million passengers annually. Most airlines flying in and out of the Beauvais-Tille International Airport are low-cost ones such as RyanAir and Wizz Air. The most popular routes are to and from Barcelona, Milan, and Bucharest. Neighboring cities that are also accessible by the BVA include the cities of Serris and Torcy.
