Bwindi: An Impenetrable Forest Offering Great encounters with Wildlife
Bwindi, Uganda, is a national park of 124 square miles of the impenetrable forest. More popular as Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, it is located along the border of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is near other impenetrable forests, including the Virunga National Park. Best Time to Visit
Bwindi’s temperature gets colder as tourists climb up to the higher areas. When exploring the park, timing the visit during the months with the most pleasant weather, June to August and December to February, promise a more enjoyable experience. Avoid booking your Bwindi Uganda hotel from October to November and March to May, the rainiest months in the area. Expect light rain to occur at any time between November and December.
