The Tidan Group is a Canadian company that has started in 1970. The company does not only do hotels but also commercial office buildings, shopping centers, industrial buildings, apartments and condominiums. The owners of the company are Mike Yuval and Jack Sofer who both served in the Israel Defense Forces.
In 1988, the Tidan Group acquired the Parkway Mall and Prince Edward Square. These are two large scale commercial properties which marks the beginning of their portfolio expansion. It was in 1991 that they started venturing in the hospitality world with their purchase of the Ramada Plaza Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale. Florida. In 2004, the company has completed the construction of the “La Closerie”. It is a luxury condominium tower. Villa Royale and Camelback Courtyard are residential apartments in Phoenix, Arizona was also purchased by the company in 2006. In 2012, they started the construction of another luxury hotel named Le Mount Stephen.
Other hotels they have are Chateau Grosvenor, Edifice 855 Galt, Le 4905, Papago Gardens, Patenza on Highland, Place des Voges, Santorini Villas and Sun Valley Ranch. Their hotels are strategically located to make sure guests will have the best time of their lives when they book on any of their hotels.
