Carrollton, A Quaint Little Village of History and Culture
Holding the county seat of Carroll County, Carrollton, Ohio is a little village housing about 3,000 residents. It was first named as “Centreville” back in October of 1815, but when it became the county seat, it was renamed to Carrollton. This name actually came from the last surviving signer of the Declaration of Independence, Charles Carroll of Carrollton. Although small, the village features plenty of hotels and attractions around, some of which holds a significant part of history.
Best Time to Visit

The festival has celebrated for almost fifty years now and features excellent crafts, food, and music for three whole days. However, expect chilly and rainy weather during this month.
