Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport is located 8 kilometers east of downtown Chattanooga, TN, United States. An airport under the Class C and serviced by the Chattanooga Approach is one of the primary commercial service facilities in the area. CHA-Chattanooga Metropolitan was dedicated in December 1919 as Marr Field. The first airplane flight took place in Chattanooga in 1928. It was the former home of the 241 EIS of the Tennessee Air National Guard up until 2010.
