Charleston International Airport – CHS Charleston
The Charleston International Airport is operated by Charleston County Aviation Authority. The Civil-Military Airport is located in Charleston, South Carolina. The CHS code facility is considered the largest and busiest airport in the said state. In 2018, 4.5 million passengers were recorded to have entered the airport. This is the highest in the history of the terminal. Located just 12 miles from the main Charleston city, this is also the home of Boeing Factory which is a major airplane manufacturer. It is the only airport in South Carolina that offers regular flights to all major cities in the United States.

The CHS-Charleston International Airport is divided into four areas - Military, Airline Terminal, General Aviation, and Boeing Assembly Area. The airport has two runways in operation. In 2016, there are additional five gates that were added and the development project made changes on the interior of the airport. The main terminal was created in 1987. Departures and arrivals are both the same floor. Aside from Charleston, the airport is accessible to cities like Mount Pleasant and Seabrook Island.
