John Glenn Columbus International Airport is formerly named Port Columbus International Airport. Its airport code CMH refers to Columbus Municipal Hangar which was the airport’s original name. CMH-Columbus serves an average of tens of thousands daily and 7.6 million passengers yearly. It is also central Ohio’s largest passenger airport and the state’s second-busiest next to Cleveland Hopkins International airport.
