Dizengoff Centre is a shopping mall located where Dizengoff Street and King George Street meet. It is located in the city of Tel Aviv, Israel. The shopping center is named after Meir Dizengoff. He is the first mayor of the city. Dizengoff Centre was designed by Yitzhak Yashar, who is a well-known Israeli architect. Geographically, it was built in the neighborhood off Noridiya. The construction of the said shopping mall began in 1972, and it was opened to the public in 1977. The mall was completed in 1983. Currently, the mall has about 420 stores, movie theaters, restaurants, cafes, and exhibit center. The mall has a rooftop swimming pool and two fitness centers. The mall is divided into two and connected by skywalk and underground bridge.
Residents of Sarona, Harikya, and other nearby areas are always visiting the shopping center. Ben Gurion House is a historic museum found in the city. It served as home to numerous Tel Aviv leaders.
