Dongying: A travel back to history
Dongying is a coastal city in the northern part of Shandong Province, China. In the 2010 census, it was recorded to have a population of 2,035,338 people at a 7,923.26 km sq. area. It was developed around 1983 for the development of China’s 2nd longest river- The Yellow River. Also, the 2nd largest oilfield is found within the area.
Best Time to Visit
The best way to visit Dongying is through the city’s gateway, which is the Dongying Airport (DOY) during the months of April to June and September to October. It is the most ideal months with ideal weather to have a tour in the city. It is not advisable to visit during the rainy season, which is in January, March, and December.
