What to Do & Area Attractions
Most El Arenal hotels are located in Palma, are beachfronts and have a picturesque view of the Playa de Palma Beach, a 3-mile long beach with white, fine sand. Among the highly-recommended accommodations are Hotel Xapala, the nearby Orbe, and Hotel Playa de Sol. As these are beachfront, they can be a bit far from the town’s center where all the other attractions are such as the Palma Aquarium, a marine park home to many sea creatures. The El Arenal Beach is the town’s main beach and is much closer than the previously mentioned beach. You can also check out Aqualand, a waterpark filled with adventurous water slides and rides.
