About Azureva Group Esnandes
Formerly known as Holidays-PTT, the group only wanted to organize holidays when they were beginning. The organization formed the business in the aftermath of World War II where culture and heritage were receiving a great deal of attention. In 1956, an associative form reinvesting in the Holiday Villages business came about. It paved the way for social tourism operations like Azureva to make good profit out of a growing market. In the summer of 1952, they opened the first Holiday Village in Sainte-Marguerite. Since the release of the associative form, the organization started having active openings in the next consecutive years.
Azureva remained a successful business even as the new millennium approached. In 2001, they transformed into Azureva Vacances, which wasn’t just a brand name change but a mark of a new approach to their operations. In the same year, they also opened the Villages Vacances to the general public. The next few years were expected to be a downhill slope for the organization but in 2017, they were remarkably applying new digital methods to promote and enhance their services. In 2018, Azureva was making collaborations with other associations like Le Mur whose project with them was painting 75 walls in Village Vacances housing, creating an open-air museum which is the most unforgettable moment of the organization to date.
