Fira de Girona Convention Center is operated by the Fira de Girona Foundation, a non-profit organization in Gerona, Spain. The entity aims to promote trade, industry, and services as well as to extend commercial exchange through making and organizing all types of trade shows and exhibitions. It features a total area of 6,000 square meters that is divided into different event spaces, such as a boardroom, the main hall with an office and audiovisual facilities, and an exhibition center with an office, dressing rooms, and restrooms. Monographic trade fairs/exhibitions, general exhibitions, and conferences are the usual events that take place at the center.

At present, Fira de Girona Convention Center hosts twenty trade fairs, with most of them coordinated by the Fira de Girona Foundation. The Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Girona is only within walking distance from the venue. It is a modern hotel with a rooftop swimming pool and offers stylish rooms. Elegant accommodation can also be reserved at Hotel Gran Ultonia and Hotel Nord 1901. From the convention center, these two properties can be reached by car within a few minutes. The Archaeology Museum of Catalonia is one of Gerona’s attractions located near Fira de Girona. Here, visitors can find a significant archaeological collection of Catalonia. The ruins of the Castle of Montjuic is another attraction that tourists can easily access from the venue. Going on a self-guided tour at the Arab Baths and Monestir de Sant Pere de Galligants is also a fun thing to do while in Gerona.
