Geraldton Airport is a public-use airport situated in Moonyoonoka, 6.9 miles east of the city of Geraldton, Western Australia. It is operated by the City of Greater Geraldton and is the regular passenger transport service and general aviation airport in the city. GET-Geraldton Airport is the primary regional base for aircraft charter operations. QantasLink is the airline that serves scheduled flights to Perth. In 2017, 115,701 passengers were served by the airport.
Best Time to Visit
The airport of Geraldton has three runways, two being asphalt-paved and the remaining one is gravel. A café that serves snacks and drinks is available inside the terminal building. Car rental facilities and other shops can also be found in the terminal building. Drummond Coveis a coastal a few miles from GET airport. Beaches and other tourist attractions can be found in the area. Fantastic fishing spots are also available in the area.
