Graskop: South Africa’s Nature Paradise
Resting on the edge of Drakensberg in the tourist region of Mpumalanga province is Graskop, South Africa. It was a gold mining camp in the 1880s but it has now become a tourist destination owing to its breathtakingly beautiful natural wonders. Graskop carries the Afrikaan name that means grassy hillock. Graskop gets the busiest in the months of August, April and May. A delightful weather (which means lots of sunshine and very limited to almost no rainfall) awaits tourists who visit during these months as well as those who come in January until May and August until December.
