Gulf Coast Town Center is one of the popular attractions in Fort Myers, Florida. It is one of the huge outdoor shopping malls in this part of Florida. The mall opened in several phases between 2005 and 2007. There are a lot of flagship stores that are located in the town center. It includes Bass Pro Shops, Best Buy, Costco, JC Penney, LA Fitness and other known shops. As of today, it is being managed by the CBL & Associates Properties. The Belk Department Store was one of the first tenants who confirmed to the part of the Gulf Coast Town Center. It was announced in 2003. The first phases include Staples, PetCo and a lot more. The second phase adds more shops to the shopping complex.
This town center is a go-to place for residents of Fort Myers Beach and North Captiva. Bowditch Point Park is a natural park in Fort Myers. It is a recreational area with a panoramic view of the bay. It has access to trails and beach areas. Edison and Ford Winter Estates is both a historical museum and botanical gardens. It features the home of Thomas Edison and Henry Ford.
