Hanimaadhoo International Airport has an airport code of HAQ and is situated on the island of Hanimaadhoo, Maldives. This public airport is located in HaaDhaalu Atoll and is operated by the Maldives Airports Company Limited. HAQ was originally built as a domestic airport but was eventually converted into an international airport. In 2019, HAQ-Hanimaadhoo became one of three international airports in the country.
