Helena Civic Center
The Helena Civic Center, or most popularly known as the Algeria Shrine Temple, is a Moorish Revival, with an exotic revival architectural style, located in Helena, Montana. The center is built in 1919 and since its opening, the center served to be as a meeting place for Angelria Shriners for civil functions. In 1988, the shrine was listed on the National Register of Historic Places under its original name, Algeria Shrine Temple. The Helena Civic Center can accommodate about 2,000 people in an auditorium. As of 2012, Helena City decided to adopt and operate the center for different kinds of events, such as trade shows, craft shows, weddings, and business meeting conferences.
