Neil and Theresa Emerick came up with Nightsbridge when they realized how frustrating honeymoon booking is when they were searching for accommodation in South Africa. After sending countless emails to properties and receiving not even half of the messages they sent, they knew they had to come up with a better way to book something online. They predicted that the future trend would be that most booking sites would require available inventory to make way for real time bookings. However, properties like guesthouses, B&Bs, apartments, or hotels would not be able to make updates on the site by logging in and out to many sites multiple times a day. The couple called this solving, the “availability problem”.
A few days before the year of their wedding and ten years after that dreadful honeymoon accommodation search, the same last-minute crisis occurred again. This time, they were able to book on a site using a smartphone at 9pm for arrival the following day. That is why the couple has first-hand experience in the hassle unexpected issues in booking last minute accommodations. Nightsbridge takes pride in that. They also maintain a fun atmosphere in their team despite being serious problem solvers in the field. They dress up for “Freaky Friday”, for instance.
