Huai'an Lianshui Airport – HIA Huai'an, China
Huai'an Lianshui Airport (HIA) is a small rural airport serving the city of Huai'an, China. It is located between Huaian and Lianshui specifically 11 miles from the city center of Chenshi in Lianshui County. Its owner and operator is Eastern Airport Group Co., Ltd. It was constructed in October 2008 while commercial flights were inaugurated in September 2010.After a year of operation, HIA Airport handled 230,000 passengers to become the 99th busiest airport in China.It also called Huai'an Lianshui International Airportbecause it serves rare flights to a few destinations in Asia.
Best Time to Visit
The Huai'an Lianshui connects to many different destinations locally. International flights to Japan, Thailand and Thailand are available but only occasionally. The most popular destinations from the airport are served by most Chinese airline companies. HIA airport has one runway that is 2,800 meters long, and a 14,600 square meter terminal building. Its design is intended to handle 1,300,000 passengers and 13,000 tons of cargo annually. China Eastern Airlines also utilizes the airport as its pilot training base. Donghai County in Jiangsu province is only less than two hours away. So are Ganyu County and Yibei.
