Hitachinaka: The Flower City
Hitachinaka is a Japanese city in the Ibaraki Prefecture and is recognized as a “hiragana city” which means the place name is written using the hiragana syllabary. This city is famous for its baby blue eye flowers which envelopes the Hitachi Seaside Park. The area surrounding Hitachinaka, JP is lined with long sandy beaches, parks, and fishing ports. In 1994, the towns of Katsuta and Nakaminato were merged to form Hitachinaka, Japan.

One of the best times to visit Japan is in August, which coincides with the Rock in Japan Festival. This yearly rock fest draws in big crowds of music lovers and is considered as the largest rock festival in the country.
