About Avari Hotel Group Jumeira
Avari Hotels International was founded in 1944 by Byram D. Avari, who also remains the chairman of the company. Byram is a Pakistani entrepreneur who has also won the Asia Games twice as a gold medalist. His first win was in the “enterprise class” yachting competition in 1978 and the second one is in the same category in 1982. Based in Karachi, Sindh, this is also where Byram started his beach luxury hotel and five-star Avari Towers. The portfolio of his Avari Hotels International Company now consists of five hotels in Pakistan, one in Toronto, and two in Dubai. Still, the first project of Byram in 1948, which was the Beach Luxury Hotel remains its most successful and remarkable member of the collection.
It paved the way for the expansion of the group, which brought the Avari Tower Hotel. Avari Towers was first built in Karachi as well with 17 floors and 120 units, which were easily filled in no time due to the name’s great reputation in the market. With the Beach Luxury Hotel’s establishment of the Avari image in both local and international markets, it was easy for Avari Towers to push through and extend operations even abroad.
