Borispol International Airport – KBP Kiev, Ukraine
Borispol International Airport (KBP) is one of the two airports in Kiev, Ukraine. As the larger one, KBP handles around 65% of all air traffic to and from the country. As of 2018, the facility handles 12.6 million passengers and flights of close to 100,000 air crafts. The airport has been the subject of ongoing developments with several terminals being selectively closed to pave the way for added construction. Accordingly, all terminals will be in operation by year 2020.
Best Time to Visit
The terminals in the KBP-Borispol International Airport are named Terminals A to F with “D” functioning primarily as the passenger terminal while “F” is open for cargo use. There’s also a VIP terminal for charter or private flights. An interesting thing about this airport is that Terminal D often displays Ukrainian art exhibitions, allowing passengers enjoy artistic displays while waiting for their flight. Right now, the airport has two runways with a third one set to be added. Airlines operating within the facility include Air Arabia, Aegean Airlines, Air France, and Austrian Airlines. From the airport, you can quickly visit the populous city of Kiev or neighboring areas like Horenychi or Vyshneve.

Unfortunately, the next closest one is the Non-stop Hotel, which is 4km away from the facility.
