Kolasin: A Peaceful Community in Northern Montenegro
Found in the northern section of the country, Kolasin, Montenegro is a town of around 3,000 residents. It serves as the center of the Kolasin Municipality and the unofficial center of the region of Moraca.

Roughly 14 miles from Kolasin is the Biogradska Gora National Park, which is home to an unspoiled forest, huge mountain slopes, and six glacial lakes. Around a two-hour drive from the park is the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ, which boasts of its High-Byzantine-like exterior and prominent arch and twin towers.
