Located in Kent County, Magnolia is a town with a small population. It was originally named Caroon Manor before it was changed to Magnolia, which was then the Duke’s favorite tree. Despite its small size, the town is famous to tourists for its array of great attractions and wonderful sites as well as family-friendly Magnolia accommodations.

The warm weather season in Magnolia lasts for about 3½ months. If you are planning to visit, you should schedule your trip any time from June to mid September. July appears to be the hottest month so be ready with a hat and sunscreen. The cold months are from December to early March.

Visit the Biggs Museum of American Art any day of the week except Monays and holidays. The museum features American art and exhibits but check the schedule for complete information. If you are feeling lucky, then Harrington Raceway and Casino is the place-to-go. It has numerous slots, arcades and betting games to enjoy. Plenty of amazing finds are there in Spence's Bazaar. Here, you will find a variety of used and unused clothes, bags, furniture and more.
