The Marine Science Center features an outdoor boardwalk and a bird observation tower for tourists. It is a marine science and natural history museum located in Ponce Inlet, Volusia County, Florida. It is home to freshwater turtles, reef aquarium, and the famous skull of a humpback whale. The mission of the center is to educate the public of the marine environments in the county. The center is in partnership with the U.S Fish and Wildlife Service and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission to preserve and maintain the marine resources. It was opened in June 2002.

The center includes a gift shop that sells souvenirs linked to the experiences and learnings about marine science. Its exhibits are interactive as their strategy to create an in-depth experience of marine life. The science center has also partnered with the University of Florida to offer the Florida Master Naturalists program. The interested party is required to complete three modules to become certified.
