McAllen Botanical Gardens (McAllen Nature Center) is a nature reserve under the protection of the city of McAllen, Texas, situated near the McAllen Convention Center. Established in 1962, it is a 33-acre area that is filled with palms and an array of plant and animal species and is meant for recreation.
