Guernsey Airport – MCI Kansas
Kansas City International Airport is located 15 miles of Downtown Kansas City, Missouri. This major public airport is a busy airport attending to over 11 million passengers yearly. MCI-Kansas has three terminals: A, B, and C. While Terminal A is still closed, all flights are routed in Terminal B and C.
However, the two terminals are not connected and therefore, you’ll need to ride a shuttle bus to get from one terminal to the next. Terminal B services three airlines including Alaska, Southwest, and Delta Air Lines while the rest of the airlines including international carriers are all in Terminal C.
Best Time to Visit
Kansas City International Airport is formerly known as Mid-Continent International Airport. Early in 2019, plans were approved to have a single-terminal design which will be constructed in three to four years. The new airport will be built on Terminal A and while the airport is still under construction, the flights will continue in Terminal B and C. Kansas City, Hyde Park, Sugar Creek, and Parkville are just some of the cities served by MCI.
