Serving as both a convention center and concert hall in the town of Wellington, New Zealand, Michael Fowler Centre is a building sitting on the reclaimed land in the city. It was commissioned back in 1975 but construction only began five years later. It was then launched in September 1983 and was named after the then town’s mayor, Michael Fowler.
