About Plaza Inn By Radisson Mozarlandia
Plaza Inn is a chain of inns under the Radisson Hotel Group. It was introduced into the United States market in 1986. It started when Jonathan R. Read founded the Park Plaza International Hotels, Inns & Resorts the same year. In 1994, Park Plaza International licensed the Park Plaza brand to “Park Plaza Hotels Limited”, vesting the rights to have operations in Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, the United Kingdom, and Israel. Due to impressive feats in the early years, Olympus Hospitality Group acquired Park Plaza International. It was reported that it gave birth to a new parent company of the Park Plaza hotel group, which was the Park Hotels International LLC. Part of that deal was the Plaza Inn and Park Plaza hotel chains.
In Juky 1999, Park Plaza Worldwide, LLC, acquired 50% rights of the brand art’otel from Dirk Gadeke. In mid-1999, Paris Park Plaza announced the opening of Park Plaza Orleans Place which is one of the significant joint ventures of the brand. In 2000, Carlson Companies, which is now known as Raddison Hotel Group finally acquired the Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts and sister brand Park Inn. This was another joint venture between Park Hospitality and Olympus Hospitality Group.
