About De Historiske Hoteller Norway Group Nesoya
De Historiske Hoteller Norway is a membership-based business organization which turns estates, manors, houses, and other historic buildings in the country into beautiful hotels. The group manages 62 hotels, 24 restaurants, and one significant ship. It is also internationally secured through Historic Hotels of Europe and Historic Hotels of America, assisted by National Trust for Historic Preservation.
The organization aims to make the past an excellent backdrop for the guests, for them to create their own history centered on the experiences they had in any of the historic structures in Norway.
The hotels of De Historiske are generally distinct from one other. Some provide mountain-based adventures and authentic experiences in the country’s iconic villages. Others are situated in a seaside town, in a wooded hill, or even in Norwegian cities. Most hotels have dramatic history and are family-run.
Fishing, horse riding, hunting, hiking, boating, golf, sleigh rides, and other activities are available for the visitors to enjoy. Guests can delight in delicious meals and vintage wines while taking in the natural romantic atmosphere of the hotel.
De Historiske also is known for their warm welcome, excellent service, friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere, and state-of-the-art facilities. All the members of the organization ensure quality standards as they share a vision in which they want visitors to find them “a good place to be.”
