The Vance W. Amory International Airport, with the airport code NEV, is a relatively busy airport located near the village of Newcastle in Nevis, an island that's part of Saint Kitts and Nevis in the West Indies. Previously known as the Bambooshay Airport and later renamed Newcastle Airport, the Vance W. Amory International Airport was given its latest name after the modern terminal, new control tower, and a runway extension was completed in 2002. It was named after Vance Winkworth Amory, former Premier of Nevis. The airport is operated by the Nevis Air and Sea Ports Authority (NASPA).
