Hawke's Bay Airport (NPE) serves as the primary commercial airport in Hawke Bay. This public airport is also commonly referred to as Napier Airport and is located in Westshore in Napier, New Zealand. Hawke’s Bay Airport attended to 652,426 passengers in 2017, making it New Zealand’s 7th busiest airport.
In 2018, NPE started renovating its terminal and expected to be completed in 2020. The terminal expansion is set to increase the passenger footprint to 4100 square meters.
