About Alua Hotels Old Town
Alua Hotels was recently born in 2015 courtesy of a group of executives with background in the industry and the European private equity. Special situations investor Alchemy Partners even invested 4 billion euros since the company was formed. Right off the bat the company was backed and set to succeed in the industry, and it surely did in between the few years of its operations. It now has over 15 hotels and more than 3,200 rooms in the Balearic and Canary Islands. The group is a big visionary with plans of expanding the chain further as 3-5-star hotels in the main tourist spots in Iberia.
In 2018, Apple Leisure Group (ALG) announced its purchase of the hotel chain’s majority share. This will integrate the hotel brand into ALG’s European division. ALG is a famous for its successful hotel acquisitions, turning these hotels into luxury and globally competitive accommodations that help enormously in boosting tourist in their locations. That’s what’s set to happen for Alua Hotels. With the hotel chain’s already impressive location layout, ALG says they’re now going to target the improvement of the brand’s marketing framework, room multiplication, and negotiation of bigger business deals for the hotels.
