Wittman Regional Airport – OSH Oshkosh
Wittman Regional Airport is an airport publicly used situated four kilometers south of the city center of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, which is a city in Winnebago County. It shares a land in Nekimi where the south end of the airport lies. The airport was originally called Winnebago County Airport but was soon renamed after aircraft designer and builder, and pioneer air racer, Steve Wittman Field. The airport has a category of a regional general aviation facility by the Federal Aviation Administration National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems from 2019 to 2023. The Winnebago County owns the airport.

Wittman Regional Airport has a total land area of 563 hectares with four runways two of which are made of concrete and the other two are made of asphalt. Based on 2015 statistics, the airport handled 64,717 aircraft operations and based on 2019 statistics, the airport had 171 based aircraft. The airport houses three colleges namely the Discover Flight, Fox Valley International School and Aviation Services. The airport’s tower is double the size of its previous tower. Its cargo operation is handled by Freight Runners Express with destinations in Milwaukee and Rhinelander. The airport is the location of the annual Experiment Aircraft Association’s Air Venture Osh Kosh is held. It is near the cities of Beaver Dam, Windsor and Sauk City.
