Roskilde Airport – RKE Roskilde
Officially known as Copenhagen Airport, Roskilde, the Roskilde Airport is located near the town of Tune in Roskilde, Copenhagen. It was opened in 1973 and is owned and managed by Københavns Lufthavne A/S, which also operates the major airport of Copenhagen situated in Kastrup. The airport catered more than 25 thousand passengers in 2003. Although the Roskilde Airport is fully equipped, most flights in the airport are taxi-flights and flights to small domestic islands.

The Roskilde Airport has two operational runways. It is open 24 hours and has facilities for immigration customs to serve international traffic. The airport is the home for half of the Danish general aviation aircraft. It also serves as base for some flight schools. Passengers from some of the cities around the airport like the Roedovre, Roskilde and Holmen usually travel through RKE Roskilde.
