Situated on the northwestern side of Richmond, Virginia, Short Pump Town Center is an outdoor shopping mall that is home to many restaurants and stores, which includes Dillard’s, Nordstrom, and Macy’s. The mall is a two-level open-air retail center composed of upscale stores. It was opened on September 4, 2003, with over 140 stores. The Queensland Investment Corporation owned and operated the mall. The 1.3 million square foot mall also features Maggiano’s Little Italy, The Cheesecake Factory, and other specialty shops and eateries. Short Pump Town Center also boasts its “Short Pump Express,” a trackless train that connects several points in the mall. The service of the train is open to both children and adults.
