Si Sawat: Historical Town Worth Visiting
Si Sawat, Thailand is part of Kanchanaburi Province found in the west side of the country. It is bordered by districts of Ban Rai, Dan Chang, Sai Yok, and Thong Pha Phum. The town is known to be dominated by Nakharin Reservoir which part of the well known Kuhean Srinagarindra National Park. This dam was constructed in 1980. The water from the dam came from the Kwae Yai River. The Erawan National Park that houses the Erawan Waterfall is located in the town. Aside from natural attractions, the town is also adorned by historical places of interests like War Cemetery and War Museum.
