Şile: The Tourist’s Window to the Black Sea
Şile is the name of the city that means “marjoram” in Turkish, which is synonymous with oregano and is pronounced Shele. This is a city found in Istanbul, that is has the best view of the Black Sea. It is famous forthe tomb of Kum Baba, which is a revered saint of the Muslims, as well as the production of cotton.
