Springville: Summer Funland, Winter Wonderland
Springville, New York is a part of the Erie County located in the Buffalo-Niagara Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area. It is a lovely town of business significance in the entire county. The town was originally called Fiddler’s Green before it was give its current name to honor a generous donor in the Springville Griffith Institute. There are five sites in town that are listed under the United States National Register of Historic Places.

Only a short period of warm weather is experienced over at Springville, New York. Otherwise, the town is buried in deep snow or the winds are chilly. Occasional light to moderate rain showers are expected all throughout the year as well. While there are notable ski lifts and resorts nearby the town, it is also ideal to visit during the summer season between June and August. These are the perfect months if you wish to immerse yourself with the town’s environment. Lesser tourists and cheaper Springville hotels are expected during these months.

Many parks and gardens are the main points of interest in Springville. Among these are the Shuttleworth Park and Scoby Dam Park. Both have diverse flora and fauna you can marvel at, small lakes you can try fishing, and lots of grasslands where you can set up picnic mats and baskets. If you happen to visit the town during winter, head on to the nearby Kissing Bridge Ski Lift.
